        Nifi's 2009 litter

All our 09 Nifi pups have found great homes.

We thank all these great and generous homes. They have all emailed and called how happy they are with the new family member.  Here are some pictures.  Merry Christmas and happy new year to everyone.    Dec. 09

We have 2 names on our 2010 breeding waiting list.  We'll breed only if we have 4 confirmed good homes.  Contact us for more info.

The pictures shown here are of Nifi's 09 litter at different stages from age just 10 days and up.

The first group of photos at age 10 days show some pups have their eyes open already and walking.

The second group of pictures are at age 9+ weeks  when they are already around 30 - 40 lbs.

Note that the bottle
feeding is in addition
to nursing, not a
substitute.
Pups from age one week
to age 10 weeks.
Ra .. a fawn male pup of the same litter at age 10 weeks, after his ears cropping.
Luci, a female brindle at age 9 weeks (35 lbs) at her new home;
and here is what her new parents had to say:

"Hi Paul just thought that we would send you some pictures of Luci in her new home. She seems to be adjusting nicely and making her self at home. Paige ( our other dog) is in love with her and they play ALL the time. The kids love her to bits and Luci is great with them. Thanks again for letting us bring a great dog into our lives we are sure lucky to have her."

Luci is a  9 to 10 weeks pup with the other family dog and with one of the children.
Isis  Gouda Williamson

At just 12 weeks she made 42 lbs and 20" at the shoulders. Going to be a big girl (well, her mom is 165 Lbs and her dad is 191 lbs).

Two breeders offered me $2500 and a generous $3500 (but they looked like puppy mills with metal cages for their Danes) and I refused, waiting for a good home.

The Williamson family in BC got her for half what the BC breeder offered me and I am very happy she has a family and a home with love and time just for  09 Christmas.
The preceding photos show the pups at the early and very critical stage of breeding care.

Without the supplementary health care for the mother during her 2 months pregnancy and the pups' first 2 months, a special 4 months diet - in addition to nursing of course - pups will suffer what large breeds suffer in nature later. That's why puppy mills give Danes a bad name and that's also why we have VEVER EVER had one single health problem of the stories you may hear about elsewhere.

Please click on the link at the bottom to read about breeding care and costs.

The following section shows the same pups about 8+ weeks, later to age 10 to 12 weeks.

7 weeks
and at
age 9 weeks
after ears cropping.
All the preceding pictures are taken just as the pup arrived at his/her new and permenant home.

And, as you can see how spoiled and well treated the pups are, I am happy that so far I have been right about selecting who gets our pups and about securing a happy home for the pup.
Dendera Gouda Kimberly
She is seen here at the Gouda residence, a day before leaving for her owm home, getting at a huge ball of fresh raw meat.

Pictures taken at age 12 weeks;
about 42 lbs
and 20+ inches at the shoulders.
Hi Paul, I hope all is well. Dexter is 39.8 pounds and 19 inches at the shoulder
as of today and doing wonderfully, he is truly a pleasure to have around.
However he does seem to take up a lot of room on the bed.

Dexter
a male fawn shown here at age 11 weeks.
both these two pictures   are at age 10 weeks.
Read why supplementary
feeding -though costly - is a
must in order to prevent the
problems common
in nature in giant breeds.
See link below.
Well, I said, he is just 11 weeks old pup ... wait til he is like his dad, 3 feet tall at the shoulders, over 4 feet high at the head and almost 200 lbs, then he'll really take over the bed.

The following email was received two days after Isis is at her home with the Williamsons:

"Hey Paul, i just thought i would send you a few pics of isis in her new home! so far everything is great, she is almost potty trained already and she pretty well got "sit" down too! haha she is also quite the couch potatoe as you will see in the pics.

Anyways i will keep you posted on how she is doing and thanks again for choosing us. we love her!.

Travis"
